We Remember

The Hovland Fire Dept. volunteers gathered with several members of our community to remember, honor, and reflect upon all the lives lost during 9/11. Pastor Kris Garey led with a prayer, and Asst. Chief Terry Spieker gave a moving talk about the importance of brotherhood among emergency responders.

And we followed it all up with more joyful conversations over coffee and donuts.

Thank you all for coming.

And a good time was had by all

To celebrate the warmer weather and our new fire truck, Hovland Fire hosted an open house for everyone in the neighborhood. We grilled brats and hotdogs and stood around admiring our new fire engine. Everyone was happy to see the faces of their neighbors that had been hidden behind face masks for the past year.
